When you arrive you will be astounded what good old fashioned manpower can accomplish. It will be a gorgeous, extremely livable and entirely walkable experience. We can supply you with all you'll require to enjoy the experience. "Cerritos" is comprised of over 13 acres of rural land sitting on rolling hills, overlooking huge panoramas of different Costa Rican and specifically rural OSA perspectives. We have planted over half the property in grass so you can actually walk around the entire farm in bare feet.

In the back corner of the property we've created one of our weekend escapes. We have two traditional thatched roof "ranchos" with stunning wooden decks measuring 4m X 6m (13' x 20') each. They are joined by a Michael Cranford designed structure offering kitchen, bathroom, outdoor garden shower, laundry room and storage closet. There is water of course but no electricity. Remember it's supposed to be Basic, Simple and Elegant something which can be achieved without electricity but not without water. The water supply is solar heated with over 400 meters of above ground black hose. You can have a 10 minute warm shower without using any form of electricity to heat the water. Are you starting to feel good yet? It's a great place for Singles, Couples, Families or even two groups sharing the two "Ranchos". What a place for meditation and Yoga. What a place to read or walk or dream or make love. What a place for bird watching. You can do whatever you want.

You can make the experience as basic as you wish. If you only want a hammock and mosquito net then we will do that. That's the true Basic package. If you prefer a little more comfort including beds or even local meals prepared and delivered to "Cerritos" then that's what we'll do. Just let us know your requirements and we will deliver you a quote. You see this is all about you, so whatever you require to live your very own "Tropical Hideaway Experience" is what we'll set you up with.

It's one big Garden of Joy for your very own personal delight. There's a small pond where you can view an entirely different world made up of butterflies, dragonflies, bees, wasps, and many other flying insects, shrimp, fish, caymans, birds and birds of prey all visit the pond. The massive tress scattered throughout the entire property offer perches to many varieties of birds. With a good set of binoculars and/or zoom camera you'll be astounded by what you'll be able to see. You'll also be able to see where we grow the bananas, plantains, corn, yucca, oranges and lemons. If you're lucky maybe it'll be part of your lunch or dinner. Ah yes and the Iguanas, the big and fast iguanas will take your breath away.
And its private, oh so very private! You'll be tucked away in the back corner of a gorgeous property with your very own Costa Rican Ranchos to be who you are without any inhibitions or interruptions whatsoever. No TV, No cellphone, no computer, no mobile apps, just you and whatever you want to be or do.
